Try to disagree. You cannot.

She's a TV show host, and has no political experience, just like Trump.

She's not bombastically offensive, though.

the answer to an incompetent billionaire TV personality isn't another incompetent billionaire TV personality. also i'm only seeing anything about Oprah on conservative outlets masturbating over the very idea, i haven't seen any democrats actually embracing the idea. the right is just desperate to legitimize their choice by imagining democrats would make the same mistake. I also think republicans are concerned about the legitimate field of democrats that could potentially run, such as Joe Biden or Elizabeth Warren and are hoping to engender the same type of populism in liberals that led conservatives to trump in an attempt to stop them before they can even announce.

there are quite a few democrats who i think have a very good chance at winning in 2020, this is just a play to try and disrupt the democratic primary with a populist. it won't work, because lets face it, democrats are educated and we can see this shit from a mile off. just like we saw trump and the obvious strings of his puppet masters.

also, i'll say this, if Oprah wants to run for something like Mayor or even State Representative and then work her way into the house or the senate then after years and years of service to the people, then i will consider her as a potential president. kinda like Al Franken who i think could've one day been a contender. but not straight off the Saturday Night live set. same with Oprah. hell, i would vote for Arnold fucking Schwarzenegger before Oprah and he's not even a natural born citizen, but, he IS qualified to work at the federal level after having served at the state level for so many years.

Let her go cut her teeth like Al Franken, this electing unqualified boobs who've never served the public for the highest service job in the country has got to fucking end.

I'm not sure I would describe Oprah as "incompetent". She went from nothing (not even "a small loan" of $1,000,000) to being probably richer than Trump. She's extremely good at what she does. Will that transfer to politics? I think so. I bet Oprah would be second to none at diplomacy.

I would like to see her run if only so we could have two different TV celebrities with zero prior political experience fight for the presidency.

Actors make the best politicians, they're professional liars.

Trump has a higher net worth, by $300 million.

I'm not confident he could win against Oprah. Oprah with Bernie Sanders as VP? He's fucked.

I think it's inflated. I remember at one point Trump said his name was worth $3 billion. I don't know how much he got for Trump Steaks but it sure as hell wasn't three billion dollars.

Well all I did was google "Oprah/Trump net worth", but at least it was more research than you did. Bitch.

Early polls say that she would win.

Polls had Hillary at 99% chance of winning.

Those polls were quite accurate. Not sure if you've heard about it but Russians hacked the election, which made fools like you believe polls are inaccurate.

dude, no it fucking doesn't. no more than her current line of work makes her qualified to be an investment banker or a fucking car mechanic. being a politician is an actual job with actual skills that make it a distinct line of work. she knows nothing about shepherding legislation or coalition building between the parties, we need actual leaders who know how to do their fucking job and not spend all their executive time watching their ratings and spending tax dollars on their lifestyles.
