Okay these reviews aren't even that bad, but when your whole career is diversity and inclusion, I can understand the reaction.

It reminds me of this similar case from England a while back

Goldsmiths university’s student diversity officer is being investigated by police after she tweeted the hashtag “kill all white men” from the official student union account.

Bahar Mustafa also used the phrase “white trash”, and has been urged to resign by an online petition, which deemed the language “hate speech”, and has been signed by more than 20,000 people.

An open letter supporting Mustafa, which said she had been “unfairly singled out for attack” has received 2,000 signatures.

Mustafa first landed herself in hot water after banning white people and men from a diversity event at the university. The organisers of the meeting later backtracked, adding “allies now welcome” to the event’s description.

The diversity officer then publicly claimed she could not be racist as she was an ethnic minority woman.

Oh, I've heard this one before. The nuttier social justice people have that whole thing where they've redefined racism so that it's about a "powerful" race (whites) using their position to discrimate. Any racism that isn't being done by a white is merely predjudice, which isn't as bad.

Ugh. Often it's just racism with a different cost of paint, as indeed it was here.

Mochi is basically rice cakes that tend to be flavored, right? I think I had some at a cultural event that a club at my community college was hosting for Japan. They were strawberry, but when I asked what they were all they told me was "rice cakes" so any association with the word Mochi is due to Google. I've been trying to find those exact ones online but had no idea what they were called.

Are these mochi?

From personal experience when you buy mochi made the traditional way - Decoration wise they can look AMAZING - Yet the ALL taste the same which is BLAND -

I think the traditional stuff is mouth feel without any real taste - Flavored of course wood be more better

I should add Poi made from Taro root.
Decades of trying this wall paper paste goop and I have yet to figure out why people eat it and even luv it

Yet lots of Polynesian people do - Poi n Mochi both seem to me to be just about the same - Flavorless Starch

It's very peculiar. Not just that she isn't being racist but that she can't be. Like how the Pope cannot be wrong on Catholic doctrine. Racial infallibility.

I really don't understand this approach.
