Because USAmericans have been living on credit cards they can't afford to pay off for so long, the bubble has burst on the cheap disposable trinket marketplaces

malls kind of suck, i try to avoid them as much as possible
thrift stores are much better ime

brick and mortar stores have much more overhead cost than online stores, so things tend to be more expensive. they are better if you are unsure of what it is that you want/need and want to be able to try things out though

I cannot imagine buying clothes without first holding the garment. Feel of material. Hard look at construction. A lot of materials have to much of a plastic feel to them these days.

Obesity is the number one reason and last time I checked, shopping malls aren't easy to get around in a wheelchair, mobility scooter, or with large amounts of fat hanging from the body.

Anonymous K joined in and replied with this 6 months ago, 6 minutes later, 9 hours after the original post[^] [v] #785,147

@previous (J)
That means in the future with only online shopping. People will get even more obese as they stay at home or work and never even walk to shop.

Anonymous J replied with this 6 months ago, 8 minutes later, 9 hours after the original post[^] [v] #785,149

@previous (K)
Correct. This is why shipping is getting faster and faster and people are getting fatter and fatter. Soon or later, McDonald's will notice the decrease in customers and start delivering via McDrones. You heard it here first.

Malls nowadays have motorized animal carts, usually intended for children, for those fat people to ride. Yes, they do ride them.

@785,138 (chili dog !!81dzJNNYL)
Online shopping sucks for clothes shopping though. How are you suppose to try on and get a size?

McDonald's will most likely just join DoorDash.

it's just always the smallest size they have lol

@785,140 (Syntax)
fair enough
i haven't had a problem with materials or construction before but i also care more about how it looks, as long as it's comfortable

I read about that a while ago. The robot will only go a mile radius from the Domino's and is also accompanied by a human. Seems a bit useless because it would go terribly wrong without that.

First generation so of course its limited. Compare the first brick cell phone to the one you own.

No future need for minimum wage humans, other than for the topping as soylent green.
