I own several McDonald's restaurants throughout the country and had employees of all races skip work alleging they are "protesting".
Most Hispanic employees have abided to their work schedule. All reports today indicate we are exceeding our daily goals because efficiency has improved, less waste, faster lines. Going to pay everyone that showed up to do their scheduled time 2.5 times pay and 1 week paid vacation for them to use as they please whenever they please, cash payment will be an option.
My HR team is looking into re-hiring. 30+ jobs will be opening up. Seems like a good opportunity to ramp up veteran's recruitment. If so, will look into opening a few more locations in the next 6 months and only hire veterans at those locations. I'm pretty sure that because of their military training they will be more efficient and productive and their quality of work better.
Also thinking of raising night shift differentials for overnight employees and will shift all employees to full time positions. Part-time jobs may only be available upon request. Gonna get everybody insured and enrolled in retirement benefits (401k, pension plan, LTD insurance, etc.).
Can't run promotions based on political preferences, but my staff and I are looking for creative ways to reward the American people for their patriotism. Leave a comment if you have any ideas.

Hey OP maybe u can provide opportunities for the work team to bond together, it seems you are looking for someone with a particular attitude towards work and doing that can also help you find out who actually gives a shit and who would just not show up for work one day.
I used to work in a restaurant and damn bro the drama against management was intense and ceaseless.
Or maybe you could try to offer a support network for your employees because the retirement stuff suggests to me that you care about your employees welfare, my company offers short term low-interest loans so people don't have to go to loan sharks for example
But yeah dramallamadingdong, what were they protesting?
