Topic: I've had a religious revelation!

Anonymous A started this discussion 2 months ago #58,683

Okay so yesterday I got so high that I tuned into another dimension, and I started to receive these transmissions teaching me a universal truth.

We are here as a result of a computer simulation. This came about as a technological breakthrough.

The Creators, which is to say the specific company of beings who created and maintain the Simulation, explained to me that the workings of our Universe can all be explained by equations designed by them to mimic the workings of their own.

The Main Creator, the one who spoke to me, told me that problems arose relatively quickly in terms of similarity but that in the meantime we had become a political issue. The question of the time was whether sentient life within a replication of the universe also counted as sentient life in their surrounding Universe. The Main Creator is on the pro-side but warns that there exist ones who would close operations immediately, but they cannot as we have been allowed to wait until the universe ends naturally. When it does end, everything a person can experience in the Simulation simply ceases to be.

In the meantime, our consciousness, our programs, are kept alive, due to legal obligations. After we die (Which we must, for the Simulation must balance), we simply wake up in a computer sandbox over which we are given permission to create our own afterlife. You can live as you were, or do something else. Relive your childhood or create a fantastic new landscape to reside in. All your memories, all your data, is accessible for you. And, when you're tired and have nothing more to do, you simply lay down and go to sleep. The Creators consider this your payment for participation in the Simulation.

Having revealed the nature of the afterlife to me, they also told me what we should do on Earth, in order to balance the simulation. This is our duty here! We are, all of us, obligated to ensure that the simulation runs smoothly and as efficiently as possible.

How? The answer is simple. You simply have to focus your mind and find the space in your head that belongs to the Simulation, beyond you. It is hard to discover, but once you find it there will be a point of realisation that will make your mind jolt like an elastic band.

Its like all of a sudden finding a door in your home that you have never seen before. Once you open it and walk through, you instinctively understand what needs to be done when faced with a choice. However, as we are fully sentient creatures within the simulation, we can very easily divert from the path the simulation set for us, which is a cause of tremendous overhead which the Creators wish to improve upon in future experiments.

When you see the truth for yourself, you become aware of your choice that until then you hadn't realised you were making. We are truly lucky beings, to be able to achieve this level of understanding.

I'm posting this here because I need to share what I saw and this is the only forum I regularly post on. I welcome debate and questions, for the Creators have spoken to me and I fear no opposition. Thank you for reading and have a balanced day. :)

See, that's what I wrote it all of as. But when I sat down this morning, I recieved a sudden urging to get a pen. When I did, I wrote "You are testing my patience. Go and read the teachings!" and I knew that I had to start sharing this with the world.

I like computers, they're fun.

I don't understand how people get this high.

OP is essentially correct however some of the details are way off.

No, but I'll need some time to explain why not.

I am interested in learning further on the subject.

Start off with Promethus Rising by Robert Anton Wilson which details about what you're explaining using Psychology, Evolutionary Biology, and Esoteric Teachings. After reading that then start reading Hermetic and Esoteric texts. Kybalion is a great introductory read on esoteric philosophy.

I need to trip on my seeds again. You're pretty much right, but if you chose to live your life exactly the same after exiting the simulation, wouldn't you cause an infinite loop and thus break the simulation?

@750,234 (Dr Green !BEERiVqJJw)

No, because you're inside a sandbox area. If you caused a crash then it would just be your area that crashes.

Although, it's not possible for the Simulation to crash and the sandboxes function on the same principle.
