Topic: Bitcoin Fact of the Day! Who created Bitcoin? Is Satoshi one person? This answered, and more!

Bitcoin !5qPJGR/JRI started this discussion 1.5 year ago #27,706

The beginnings of Bitcoin start with a collection of people angry over what they saw as corruption in financial markets. A group of genius economists, master cryptologists, exiled financiers, rebels, autists, leaders, and a bleeding edge AI system.

The group wanted to fight the corruption the percieved to be pervading the world, and through internet communication formed an online council, to serve both as a forum for the issues, and a front against the status quo economic systems.

It was clear to all of those in the council at the time, (who's pooled resources, connections, and information comprised what was unprecedented for this sort of group), that organizations like Libor were behind the manipulation of the markets. Something that wouldn't be known to the general public for some time after. It was also clear the the Federal Reserve, London Banking systems, and other institutions were clearly established to support the top 1% at the sacrifice of the People.

So the Order of the Antithesis of Libor and the Federal Reserve was established, and a draft constitution was penned by the officers (this was done through GitHub, no less!).

A strong start quickly turned into a bureaucratic social club, where members focused on internal politics, and listing the organization on their resume to sound political. For the minority of the members that wanted serious change to come, it became obvious that this was not how it would be done.

They gathered in secret and decided that this time around they would create a personification of their values, and create a symbol to stand against the financial elites. Satoshi Nakamoto was an anthropomorphism of the original intent of OALFR, and this time around instead of political statements, they would focus on technological changes that would be used to alter the financial system.

The cryptologists built a system to do just that, and Bitcoin was born. As Bitcoin was adopted by the people of the Earth, the economy liberated, and man's greatest tool finally in the hands of the people, Earth prospered.

> and Bitcoin was born. As Bitcoin was adopted by pedophiles and drug dealers, no one noticed. Eventually some people noticed. Then it began to grow. Slowly. Cautiously, at first. Then people stole a bunch of bitcoins from people hoarding bitcoins. Then they did it again, just to prove that the currency was totally unstable and liable to theft and fraud. Then, as bitcoing exchange rates began to rise, people bombarded the Internet bottleneck that was access to bitcoins; they DDOSed the fuck out of it to make sure that no one else could sell high or buy low. As bitcoin was tolerated by schmucks and trendsters, the economy manipulated, and man's greatest tool finally in the hands of criminals and pedophiles, the Internet assured itself that everything was normal again.

Unlike USD, which, protected by PureHolynessâ„¢, cannot be used by these types of people.

In the same way a bank robbery shows the USD is "totally unstable and liable to theft and fraud.".

Fun fact: You can have your USD stolen from your bank, or person, though it is mathematically (virtually) impossible to break the encryption used to protect a personal bitcoin wallet, provided ample security measures are taken.

Why do you try to pass lies as facts? You are the problem.

I haven't lied about a thing here. If you are referring to when I said "Unlike USD, which, protected by PureHolynessâ„¢, cannot be used by these types of people." that was sarcasm.

As for the rest, you should know that I am an established authority on Bitcoins as both a technology, and the history regarding their development.

> Person A is an authority on subject S, well informed on the issue, and able to draw sound conclusions regarding it.
> Person A makes claim C about subject S.
> Therefore, C is true.

The main problem with this comparison is that the value of the USD doesn't fluctuate wildly every time someone robs a bank.

No, I just wanted a more realistic ending to the OP to replace the 'bitcoin saves the world' bullshit.
