Perhaps this is what happens when the market is saturated with graduate students that studied useless majors.

4% is quite low.

Sticking to anything for 4 years shows an employer something, and university is for more than learning a trade. You learn to navigate a beaurocracy, network with others, and gain a general credential to show you can jump through hoops, and have discipline to get through it.

Even liberal arts degrees pay for themselves in purely monetary terms over the course of someone's life in extra pay.

That doesn't take into account that the work is going to be much more respectable, interesting, and better all around then a job sought by high school grads.

And severely retarded. A person's decision to study something is not directly correlated with an entire economy's habit of not providing employment.

I have a faggoty fine arts degree and I'm raking in cash through STEM employment. Where are Walter's straw men, now?

Hummmmmm so the idea of going for a PhD in French was not so good an idea eh.

That study does not include this

http://www.forbes.com/sites/jacquelynsmith/2012/06/08/the-best-and-worst-masters-degrees-for-jobs-2/

Physician assistants are medical professionals who provide diagnostic and preventative health care services under the supervision of doctors—and they’re in high demand.

1st was in Medician

Then

Electrical engineering, physics and economics degrees also make the top 10, all with an average mid-career salary of more than $110,000 a year.

A master’s in business administration (M.B.A) can also earn you six figures mid-career—but because of the poor growth outlook for common jobs held by these degree-holders, it doesn’t make the top 10 list.

So a look up on worth of say a Masters degree in French comes out not so good n PhD well seems no one is looking4 such these days.

I honestly think that he's bitter. He didn't go to university, so he tries to demean and talk down those who did to make himself feel better.

He doesn't understand. His mind is just a puddle of Matt hatred and stories about satellites.
