Topic: What is yiffing exactly?

Valdair !H0DYeRe3gg started this discussion 2 years ago #23,531

Is it just fapping to furry shit?

Do you have to have paws on?

Fox !FXYGNx1XR. joined in and replied with this 2 years ago, 20 minutes later[^] [v] #367,771

Yiffing is furry sex. Pawing off is masturbating, but the paws are not necessarily required.

Yeah this. I don't know anyone who uses the term "pawing off" though. Seems that most of us just use the word "fap" or something similar.

I've seen it a few times so, though I don't use it myself, consider it furry lingo.

Not all of us like the term 'brony' or use the phrase 'clopping'.

What's wrong with the term? It just means somebody who likes the show and is outside of its target demographic.

What the fuck? Listen, you little runt. Not only am I invincible, I can probably knock down a building with a single flick of my wrist. Gorilla warfare? I AM the gorilla. You drooling fool, do you even understand what you've done? You've woken the sleeping giant, and I will not wrest until I fucking devour you. Do you even knowwhat that entails? You're fucking done. When I find you - AND I WILL - I will reduce your wretched life to the level of an insect; no, an amoeba! I hope you're prepared for the mother of all shitstorms to rain down upon your head, punk, because I have people RIGHT NOW tracking your IP and scanning your ports, and they can find out everything about you to a molecular level? So you think you're such a smartass right now with your clever fucking comments, but we'll see who's laughing when I have a brace of Sig Sauer® P226 pistols held to your worthless skull. Mark my words, I will have my revenge soon.

I feel like a black man being called a nigger and being told that it's not a big deal because it just describes someone with my colour of skin. Pic related, average brony. Note the incredible lameness that is required to qualify for the title nowadays.

You can be a brony and an autist, and you can be a brony without being an autist about it. They're not the sane thing.

Why are you claiming that the term has suddenly changed? It just refers to fans outside of the demographic. Why are you getting all worked up about it?

It changed a LONG time ago. I prefer the more neutral term, Horsefucker.

Also who is getting worked up about it

Maybe worked up was a bit strong, you just seem to be attatching really negative things to the term, when all it really is is a word to describe people who like the show but aren't its target demographic.

To use your black man metaphor, it's like a black man refusing to be called black because his view is that the word has taken on too many negative connotations, when in fact it's just a term for his skin colour.

Like the word negro?

Negro started with negative connotations, given the then view of black people.

I once insulted a black guy by using the term black, apparently I should have said "coloured", even though that term also upsets some black people. To minimise the risk of being called racist I now just refer to blacks as 'not-Whites'.

Killer Lettuce !!iNo3FkiZx replied with this 2 years ago, 1 minute later, 17 hours after the original post[^] [v] #367,965

I think the word coloured fell out of favour because it made other races sound too much like "others".

Never heard of a black guy being offended by being called black. It's quite inoffensive, especially considering that caucasians are referred to as white.

Also, I still hear the term "coloured" used occasionally. Interestingly I heard a girl who was really anti-racist refer to a black guy as a "man of colour".
